All in all a great experience! If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend spending 5-10 hours of your life on this game (5 to beat it, maybe 10 to unlock everything).
I didn’t get the “best” ending because I misunderstood a few of the time loop mechanics during the game, but it was still satisfying and lends itself to a decent element of replayability. It was both hilarious and suspenseful, which is a combination I don’t see enough of in most forms of media. Although it was sort of a 2D walking sim (not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s more meant to reward exploration rather than challenge you which I’m fine with), I loved the characters, the dialogue felt mostly natural and the story honestly kept me on the edge of my seat. I only planned on playing it for an hour or so to get a feel for the game and then go back to finish it later on, but I ended up just completing it in one sitting. It's actually pretty wild to me that the numbers are that much. The game sold 85k copies across all platforms, but over 300k people played it through Game Pass, presumably most of them on XBOX. Since it was leaving gamepass, it gave me enough motivation to give it a shot. It's one thing to have the game available on the Game Pass library, it's another thing to see how many people actually play it vs. I kept meaning to play this game but put it off forever. Rites of passage and Senior year traditions set the stage for a group of friends sneaking off to Edwards Island. Requesting is fine, but please be polite and don't beg.
